Alice Cao, Dancer

Alice Cao, Dancer of Convergence Ballet Dance Company Biography Alice Cao is from Seattle, Washington, where she trained at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School.  She has performed with the Pacific Northwest Ballet in George Balanchine's Symphony in C and Coppelia, Ronald Hynd's Sleeping Beauty, and Kent Stowell's Nutcracker.  She has also performed in Balanchine's Chaconne, Who Cares?, and Cortege Hongrois for the PNB School, as well as originating leading roles in Bruce Wells' Hansel and Gretel and Pinocchio, Kiyon Gaines' 10:"UN" A'Frayed Edges, and Barry Kerollis' The Anxiety Variations.  Alice has attended summer programs at American Ballet Theatre, The National Ballet School of Canada, Ballet Austin, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Lines Ballet.  She is also a graduate from the University of Washington with a BS in Computing and Software Systems.  Alice spent last season as an Apprentice with Ballet Memphis, will join American Repertory Ballet in the fall, and is very excited to work with Convergence Ballet.
